Follow up on 2007 World Education for All Report.
This document analyzes in particular the causes that still eight years ahead, hinder the achievement of the universal primary education for all by 2015 goal. To promote more government policies to fight exclusion, improve teachers working conditions and allocate more investment to education so as to face the increasing demand for school attendance are some of the measures proposed in this report. Number 7 Fe y Alegría International Magazine
The last number of the Fe y Alegría International Magazine runs with the title "Education is a public good! Better education and society for all." This was the demand from the 36th International Fe y Alegría Meeting, held last year in Caracas, Venezuela. Conscious that education is a fundamental right, the Federation defends " best education for those who have less" and promotes the commitment to extend a public quality education which will contribute to social change, according to the principles of popular education. Informe ONUSIDA 2006
La Agencia de las Naciones Unidas para la lucha contra el SIDA (ONUSIDA) ha verificado que, en África Subsahariana -la región del mundo más afectada por esta pandemia-, por cada 14 mujeres hay 10 varones seropositivos. En total, la cifra actual de infectados por el SIDA es de 39.5 millones de personas, 2.6 millones más que en 2004. Archivo adjunto

Relatorio anual del SJR-LAC 2007

2006 UNAIDS Report
A recent UN Agency report in the fight against AIDS (UNAIDS) has verified that in Sub Saharan Africa, the world´s most affected region by this illness, for every 14 infected women there are 10 sero positive men.
